Accidental Angel by Tess Thompson  (the pen name for two writing sisters, Charlene Tess and Judi Thompson) is a true romance novel in every sense of the word. Almost engaged, Dr. Shane Madden finally meets a new right girl and things develop quickly. Although he ends the superficial and materialistic relationship with Elizabeth, he doesn’t inform his new true love, Dena.

Elizabeth was the caviar and martini type who grew up in a family concerned with appearances. Shane grew up in a happy family, and was the blue jeans and outdoors type. Their relationship wasn’t meant to be, but requires quite a bit of disentanglement as Elizabeth’s father, Dr. Fitzpatrick, is the head of the hospital. Will Shane be able to continue working there if he breaks up with Elizabeth? He is threatened with his job unless she marries Elizabeth.

With her divorce almost final, Dena has moved to a small town in Colorado without giving her controlling and abusive ex the address. She begins a job as a pediatric nurse and loves to help her patients. Being a stay-at-home without children only to meet the needs of a demanding man was not what she had wanted. She is worried she may only meet abusive men.

As events unfold, she thinks Shane might be trouble. She grew up with dysfunction and abuse. Shane has a car accident and Dena pulls him out of the car before it explodes. People think Shane falls for her only because she saved his life. He knows better as he never had truly been in love before, but is not able to convince anyone, especially Dena.

Shane moves home to California. His mother, Hollywood Madden, has an at-home kennel to care for animals. His visit home provides a backdrop to know Shane is a caring and responsible person. He becomes a contract doctor to allow Dena time to think. What will she decide?

Goodreads and Tweeting Lover of Books Reviews Contemporary Fiction

Title:  Salvation

This debut novel is a great, sweet, hot read! There weren't any moments that I expected to happen.
Nate drips of sex appeal, gorgeous hot bodiness, sweetness, compassion, and charm. He most definitely is not your typical cliche millionaire!

Kara (yes, I can hear him saying her name in a raspy voice) is lacking in strength, determination, self-confidence and self-esteem. I picture her as a caterpillar waiting to blossom into the stunning butterfly she doesn't realize she is.

Nate+Kara=ignition ignited! Butterfly blossomed.
They bring out the best in each other and make each other a more confident, assured, and capable of loving and being loved person. They complete each other. But, will their love endure? THAT we'll need to wait to find out!

Love some of the other characters in this story too.

I really enjoyed this story and definitely recommend.

Tracey Quintin Shares Goodreads Contemporary Romance with New Book Review Readers

Title:  A Ring And A Prayer
Series: Book 1 Golden Bowl Series

This is the 2nd story I've read by Maeve Christopher and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed!

While the beginning was slow, I could tell it was building my knowledge of the characters and setting. Then WHAM, the story really picks up with many twists and turns. It leaves you guessing who is "good", who is "bad" and what is going to happen next?! I'm looking forward to reading more in the next book to find out not only how some things turn out but how some people turn out. I did a gasp when I came to the end and said to myself "No! I want more!".

The story is filled with strong spirituality and was refreshingly a sweet, clean read.

I love the idea of The Golden Bowl, the charitable work that Annie does and how you can see how paying it forward, helping others, is such an amazing thing to do!

Loved that some of the characters from the author's prior series are in this story.

This story reinforced for me, "let it be" and "it is what it is".

I now wish I could visit Marberry, Maine, the restaurant (especially the bakery!) and see these folks in person.
Great job Maeve Christopher! I think everyone will thoroughly enjoy this story and recommend all read it!

Women's Fiction Admired for Heart-Wrenching Plot

Title:  In the Context of Love
Author:  Linda K. Sienkiewicz
Genre: Women’s Fiction, Contemporary, Romance
ISBN:  1941523048

In In the Context of Love, hope springs eternal even under the worst of circumstances. Once I started, I simply couldn't put this book down as I followed its main character Angelica through a complicated personal journey of spiritual, emotional, and physical maturity. The author's vibrant descriptions of complex characters, adolescent longings, Midwestern winters, social mores, and cultural traditions underscored a heart-wrenching plot centered around flawed humanity and the unintended consequences of well-intentioned decisions. Without giving away spoilers, the story hinges upon a horrific event from the past which, once discovered by the protagonist, shatters everything she thought she knew and understood about her family and romantic relationships. Its ripple effect on other characters weaves a compelling tale that will keep you guessing until the end. Kudos to the author for keeping hope alive, balancing good and bad with relatable characters, and abstaining from the temptation to paint an entire sex as evil because of the despicable crimes of one individual. In The Context of Love will leave you feeling as if love always finds a way to prevail, no matter how difficult the obstacles.

A Not-Erotic-But-A-Little-Sexier Book by Marie Astor

What an AWESOME new series by Marie Astor! Absolutely LOVED IT and highly recommend!!!

This was a page turner for sure. As you read along you'll see the main character Ally as she experiences quite a range of emotions: joy, insecurity, sadness, pain, loss, intrigue, growth, love and revenge. There were some parts that I laughed out loud. You also realize not only that money doesn't give you everything in life but can also be taken away in an instant.

All of the characters in this book are well developed. I truly enjoyed Ally's character the most. Of course, I loved others as well but also disliked some because of their actions. (I don't want to give away any of the storyline).

This is really an amazing new series by Marie Astor and brings the hotness level up a notch from the other books of Marie's that I have read! Not erotic just more sexier than prior books - which to me was perfect.

I think you're going to love it as much as I did!! I'm SO looking forward to the next book in this series. Love Marie Astor!

ONE TO SAVE was a sizzling, suspenseful romance that took me to another place. I completely lost myself in this book! Derek and Melissa are characters that stuck with me from the beginning and embedded themselves in my heart. I felt the complete and undeniable love they they feel towards each other, and I felt the utter gut wrenching heartache that they went through in this book. I absolutely LOVE each installment of the ONE TO HOLD series, but this book, this incredible book, left me a blubbering mess and pulled emotions out of me left and right. Tia Louise is a genius at setting the scene, giving her readers a vivid, beautiful depiction of all that is going on, transporting us to this lovely world with ease. Tia Louise fans will fall in love with the latest ONE TO HOLD novel!

And ladies...get ready to SWOON your panties off, because DEREK ALEXANDER is BACK!

Derek and Melissa have come so far. But secrets, lies, and deceptions prevent them from having the happily ever after they both deserve. Melissa knows what it's like to be in a relationship full of lies, and she WILL NOT go through that again. When Melissa pushes Derek away, he is devastated and broken. He knows he was in the wrong, protecting her but not communicating with her. He is determined to make things right. He will stop at nothing to see her smile once again. But what if it's too late? Fool me once and all that.

ONE TO SAVE was one helluva page-turner. Steamy, action packed, and heartwarming, I can never get enough of this series. A story about finding your light in the darkness and never letting it go, Derek and Melissa's love story will be one to remember, one to cherish, and one to learn from. I know this was the happily ever after I always wanted for these two, but I hope that it isn't the last we hear from them. #DerekAndMelissaForever
